When it was introduced late last year, the first Samsung Galaxy Tab came in surprising 7-inch package. Running on Android 2.2, it was a very portable tablet that kept users connected to the Internet to engage in social networking or check email, listen to music, watch movies, make phone calls, and engage in a whole bunch of work and play activities.

This 7-inch-wonder was well-received by consumers not only here but in the global landscape as well, persuading global tech giant Samsung to improve on the product and introduce more Tabs of different screen sizes.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 owes its sleek, slim profile to its bigger sibling, the Galaxy Tab 10.1, introduced a few months back. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 shares many other features and services with the premium Tab 10.1 including Samsung’s TouchWiz UX and the latest Android Honeycomb 3.1 operating system. As it is a Samsung device, you can bet that it has an extremely capable photo editor to enhance images you capture or download. You can rotate, crop, and adjust colors of the photos.
